​​​​​Grooming may take a couple of hours and can be very stressful for a dog.  We want to help your pooch feel at home and safe while they are visiting Coffee Hounds.  Our grooming clients can participate in "cage-free" waiting and enjoy playtime with our Doggie Daycare guests.  While your dog is waiting to be groomed or picked up, he will have access to our Indoor Play Space and Outdoor Play Yard.  We also have Cozy Condos available for those dogs that prefer alone time or need time to rest.

Meet our groomer:  A native of Coffee County, Sommer Wright has been grooming pups for over 5 years.  Sommer approaches the grooming of your dog with the utmost respect, love, and care.  Her compassion and attention to detail are sure to please you and your furry friend.

Grooming Requirements

* Submit a completed Grooming Profile Form and Waiver

* All Boarding, Grooming, and Daycare guests must have proof of the following vaccinations administered by a veterinarian in the last 12 months:  This information can be faxed to use at 912-525-3086.

              DHLPP

              Rabies

              Bordetella

              Negative fecal test

* Coffee Hounds is a FLEA-FREE ZONE:  All dogs must be on a regular flea, tick, and heart worm prevention program such as Frontline or Advantage (flea powder or flea collars are not acceptable).

* In order to participate in socializing, your dog must be spayed/neutered.  Females showing signs of being in heat will not be allowed on the premises for boarding or grooming.

​* Ask about our "Newcomer" package!:  We specialize in New Grooms or Difficult Dogs!  Whether your dog is  getting ready for his FIRST groom or fearful after a bad experience at a previous grooming salon, we want to work with your pet and earn their trust with a positive grooming experience.  These pets require a little more time and patience.  We will slowly introduce the sounds and sights of the grooming tools (clippers, table, bathing, brushing, etc) in order to help them acclimate to the grooming process.  Handling fees may apply.

Since pets come in all sizes, shapes, and coat conditions, we can not offer an accurate estimate over the phone.  We would love to meet your pooch "in person" and discuss their grooming needs.
